How to Plan Weekly Meals
Mapping out your meals for the week is easier than ever. Instead of relying on a loose-leaf piece of paper or a whiteboard in the family kitchen, an app will revolutionize the way you plan your weekly meals. Family Daily is designed for busy adults who don’t have time to learn brand-new software, as the process is straightforward and easy to use!
It can feel stressful to learn new technology, but Family Daily is determined to make these fears disappear. The interface allows you to find the tabs you need and walks you through the process of planning your weekly meals. Although it has been created for your convenience, here is a step-by-step guide to help you plan your first weekly meal plan:
Find Family Daily on the app store and download it to your phone or other device.
Create an account and ensure each family member is connected to the account.
On the toolbar at the bottom of the app, click on Meal Plan.
Once you have clicked Meal Plan, you will be brought to a page that shows three days at a time (showing the current day first) with mealtime slots of breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. To find the days for the rest of the week, you will continue scrolling right.
Decide which meal you want to plan. You will click on the preferred date and meal, where you can then add the dish you want to cook for that meal. If you are unsure of what to do, you can click “add from recipes,” where you can search through the 5,000+ recipes on the app!
Once you’ve found the perfect recipe, click the meal and then select Add to Breakfast (or lunch, dinner, etc.).
Click save, and you’ll return to the page with the other meal slots. Voila, you have your first meal planned!
